First Recruitment Group is made up of four well-established business streams: First Technical, Talascend, Primis, and Operam.

 

We are offering an investment in you: one-to-one training with people who have been in the industry for many years and can show you what good looks like alongside a fully comprehensive Trainee Development Programme.

 

The role of a Recruitment Consultant:

 

  • Implement and manage comprehensive end-to-end recruitment strategies and processes, including candidate sourcing plans, assessment methodologies, and stakeholder engagement strategies to deliver consistent results for clients, candidates and FRG.
  • Utilise a variety of sourcing techniques, such as direct sourcing, networking, and database searches, to identify and attract top-quality candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screening and assessments, evaluating skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for project-specific roles.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities and expand existing accounts to build a strong pipeline of recruitment projects to support further business and team growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging recruitment practices, to provide valuable insights to improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Client Development Team to win and deliver business with both new and existing clients.

Essential Experience:

 

  • Proven experience within a Customer Service or Sales environment.

  • Starting salary of £23.5k, however this is negotiable dependent on experience plus a lucrative, realistic, and achievable commission scheme.
  • UNCAPPED commission, based on your individual billings, which can typically provide the opportunity to earn around £3k per quarter after your first 12 months with us. Career progression offered by our Career Pathways Programme to experienced Recruitment Consultant levels can typically provide £5k + per quarter.
  • A bonus scheme paid twice yearly for demonstrating company core values and hitting a company performance target, earning up to 5% of your salary annually.
